Privacy Policy.
Your listening experience is personal. We aim to be clear about the information involved in providing Prunity Audio.
Effective date: October 28, 2026 · Last updated: October 28, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Prunity Inc. ("Prunity," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Prunity Audio mobile app and visit our website.
Prunity Audio currently does not require an account or sign-in. The app is designed to process live microphone audio on your device. Some limited technical, usage, and subscription information may be processed by service providers as described below.
2. Microphone and audio
Live audio processing
With your permission, Prunity Audio accesses your device's microphone to provide live noise reduction and listening features. Live microphone audio is processed on your device; it is not sent to Prunity's servers for live filtering. We do not record or store your live listening sessions.
Optional voice samples on your device
The app may let you deliberately create and manage short voice samples for voice-related features. If you choose to save these samples, they are stored locally on your device, rather than uploaded to Prunity's servers. They are separate from live listening sessions. You can manage these samples through available in-app controls.
Microphone permission can be changed through your device settings. Disabling access may prevent microphone-based features from working.
3. Information we process
App usage analytics. We use PostHog to understand how the app is used, such as screens viewed, features enabled, and soundscapes selected. We do not require your name, email address, or an account for these analytics. Depending on SDK configuration, analytics can involve pseudonymous identifiers and technical information (such as device, app, and event information), and should not be assumed to be completely anonymous.
Subscription information. When subscriptions are offered, Apple handles payments through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to help manage purchases and entitlements. This can include subscription status, transaction or product identifiers, and an app-specific customer identifier. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.
Messages you send us. If you email us for support or feedback, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address and message.
Website visits. When visiting our website, basic technical information may be handled by website hosting providers to deliver the site and maintain security. The website includes an optional audio demonstration that plays only when selected.
4. Third-party services
We use service providers to operate and improve Prunity Audio:
- PostHog for app usage analytics.
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management.
- Apple App Store for in-app purchase processing and subscription management on iOS.
These providers process information under their respective privacy practices. You can read the PostHog privacy policy, RevenueCat privacy policy, and Apple privacy policy.
Information processed by these providers may be stored or handled outside your province or country, including in the United States.
5. Your choices and privacy rights
You can choose whether to grant microphone access, and you can change that permission in your device settings. You can manage locally saved voice samples using the app's available controls. You can stop using the app and uninstall it; uninstalling generally removes locally stored app data, subject to your device's backup and operating-system behavior.
Apple subscriptions can be managed or canceled through your Apple account's subscription settings. Deleting the app does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that we control. Contact support@prunityaudio.com. Because no account is required, we may need details sufficient to locate relevant records, and certain third-party or device-level data may need to be managed through those providers or your device.
6. Security and data retention
We take reasonable steps to protect information associated with our services. Live audio processing stays on your device. Optional locally saved voice samples remain on your device unless you choose to remove them or device-level processes affect their storage.
We retain support messages and service-related information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, applicable legal obligations, or legitimate business needs. Analytics and subscription records may be retained according to our service settings and providers' retention practices. No security system can guarantee absolute protection.
7. Children's privacy
Prunity Audio is a general-audience product and is not specifically directed to children. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact support@prunityaudio.com so we can review the request and take appropriate action.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Prunity Audio evolves. For example, if we introduce user accounts or optional audio uploads or cloud processing, we will revise this policy before those practices begin and provide notice or request consent when required. The updated effective date will appear at the top of this page.
